To be fair, I must admit I have read only 20 pages in Emerald Green. I truly enjoyed the two earlier books in the series. But it has been a year since Sapphire Blue was published and an author must meet readers half way to help us remember where we left off. This author does not do that in Emerald Green. Maybe if I keep reading I will feel that I know the characters again and I will recall the key plot points. But will I keep reading? I doubt it. Sadly I preordered the book, so here it sits unread and paid for and frustrating me! So fair warning to you all.
